Shellac Nails





Lately, I have been hearing alot of buzz about Shellac Nails so I decided to check it out for myself. I just got back from getting them done and I'm very excited about how they turned out. I picked "Hot Pink" as my colour as I figured I better go bright before the Summer ends;) I was told at the Salon "Envy Nails" in White Rock that the Shellac would last anywhere up to 14 days and would not loose shine or shimmer due to UV rays. They look very smooth and shiny and feel thick almost "gel" like so it will be interesting to see how long it actually lasts. My nails feel hard and I was told that they will not scratch or smudge like normal nail polish. However, I can say that the price is a little more expensive then the normal manicure but if it lasts as long as I've been told, it will be worth it. Up for trying something new? Look here to find a salon near you that carries Shellac.

    Hey Bud, Yep you can pick from a variety of colours and you can get a french manicure as well :)

    I'm huge in to nail care and havent heard of these Shellac style before so will SO have to check them out :) :) Your nails look fantastic though & those accessories are great!!

    I love the color. Got to see it in person, looks great! I have also tried the shellac and loved it, it lasted a long time!

    I swear by shellac polish! I've been getting it done religiously for over 5 months now and the rumors are all true. My nails have stayed strong and the polish never chips. The best part is your nails always look healthy; as if you've just come from teh salon! I go to Socialite Nails, they do a greatt job!

    Hi Jue, thats awesome, how much do they charge at Socialite nails? Ill check it out next time when I need to go again. Court also mentioned there is a place at 12th and Arbutus in Kits. Love it!

    It's costs $39.20 at Socialite Nails. Ask for either Rachel or Amy, they're the best! New favorite color is 'romantique'.
